From cotton fields to planned communities
The tire company that gave Goodyear its name bought the land in 1917 to grow cotton for tire cord. The town incorporated in 1946 and stayed small for decades; between 1990 and 2020 its population grew more than tenfold. PebbleCreek opened in 1993, so its earliest homes are now past thirty. Palm Valley lies north of Interstate 10, and Estrella, the largest planned community, sits south of the Gila River near the Estrella Mountains.
Exterior remodeling for Goodyear's newer homes
Plenty of newer stucco houses still have painted wood at the roof edge, and in the West Valley sun it fades and peels, often well before the stucco does. Our crews wrap that fascia in aluminum, bent to fit on site, and close the eaves with vinyl panels, which ends the trim repainting and keeps birds out of the rafters. See soffit and fascia, and exterior painting for faded stucco.
Shade for the back patio
In a place this sunny, a covered patio gets used. Shade can go over the sitting area, the grill or the edge of the pool. Solid aluminum patio covers block the sun outright, while alumi-lattice breaks it up, and neither one has boards to paint. Check with your association, if you have one, before choosing colors or a cover style. There's a set of past patio covers in the gallery.

Goodyear questions
Do you work in PebbleCreek?
Yes. PebbleCreek is in Goodyear, which is in our service area. If you're changing colors or adding a cover, check your association's rules first.
My house is fifteen years old. Is that too new for soffit and fascia?
No. If the paint on the trim is already peeling, covering it now means you won't be repainting it again.
